Hot Spot
30 to 45 minuts / in situ creation / All ages
Hot Spot is a site-specific performance created
in situ, adapting itself to the unique architecture and atmosphere of each location.
The piece blends circus disciplines with live music, using the spaces offered by the festival environment:
cars, balconies, riversides, façades, and any accessible structures allowed within the site.
For the development of the physical material and spatial composition, we require 2–3 days before the performance in order to research the space and create a version of the piece specifically designed for that location. While some scenes and musical elements already exist, much of the performance emerges from the dialogue with the site itself.
Each presentation becomes a unique and unrepeatable experience.
The choreography, the spatial exploration, and sometimes even the performers involved may change depending on the context and possibilities of the environment.
Two essential elements define the spirit of Hot Spot: surprise and presence.
The audience is invited to discover unexpected actions unfolding around them, where the performance evolves in real time, shaped by the space and the immediacy of the present moment.
