Pote Compote
Festival Inclusif Des Arts Engagé

- A Female Electronic Circus Experience -

Pote Compote was created in 2024 as an event dedicated to celebrating and highlighting International Women’s Rights Day on March 8. From its very beginning, it has been conceived as both an artistic and political space, showcasing powerful, versatile, and committed artists within an inclusive environment open to all genders, backgrounds, and cultures, and respectful of the LGBTQ+ community.
The invited artists are not exclusively women: Pote Compote promotes an inclusive vision of gender and femininity, understood as an energy and a human expression that goes beyond biological sex. This perspective creates a space for dialogue, representation, and artistic freedom, where every identity can fully express itself.
Created through the collaboration between the circus company
Las Corpa and the non-profit organization FIDAE,
Pote Compote aims to merge performing and circus arts with electronic and live music. The event stands out for its multidisciplinary program, blending visual arts, performances, contemporary circus, dance, and music, in a spirit of breaking down artistic boundaries.
One of the central goals of Pote Compote is to bring together a large number of artists, to encourage sharing, encounters, and collaborations, and to build an international artistic network. We believe in art as a form of political expression, a tool for social integration, and a powerful means of collective transformation.
